Family: My husband, Troy, and I have been married for 17 (WOW!) years. Our daughter, Bethany, is 14 and is actively involved in swimming, soccer, piano, voice ensembles and babysitting. Stephen, age 12, loves tennis, soccer, math and computers. Stephen also plays the violin. Nathan, age 10, loves life every way it comes but is currently playing basketball and soccer. He also plays piano and enjoys composing music. My husband loves to fish and hunt so our children also enjoy those hobbies. I think my biggest “hobby” at the present time is taxi driver, but I still enjoy music, reading, skiing, etc. My parents are enjoying Dad’s new life after retirement! Dad has found that raising horses is more fun than medicine and enjoys tinkering on the farm like he always did. Mom has taken up doll collecting after the house became too empty without six children at home! Both of them are in good health and we are thankful for that.

Job & Place of Work: Manager of Northern State Bank

My favorite high school memory is… sneaking out of school our senior year and piling in Kristal’s Jeep and going to Alex for lunch and playing PIT at my house after curfew until 2 or 3 in the morning and spilling popcorn etc. all over again & again ranks up there, too. The funniest memory, however, was the fall after graduation when Wendy Lund tried to get my attention at my house at 2 a.m., not by knocking on the door, but on my 2nd story window with a board and my dad met her outside in his cowboy boots, bathrobe and a shotgun thinking she was a burglar!

Someone from my high school days who had the biggest impact on me…My friend Gary Webskowski really influenced me as he was such a true friend through Jimmy’s cancer treatments and recovery period. I’m thankful for having such a great friend during my high school days as he was. My most influential “teachers” were my parents and Mrs. Rylander as they helped me “cut my teeth” properly in life and also in the business world. However, I’ve had many people who have been very instrumental in encouraging me to strive to accomplish all I could with my life and now I see myself doing the same for others. I wish to thank each of my friends throughout my childhood and teen years for all you did to help shape my life in positive ways. I trust in some way I hopefully did the same for you.

I still…love to laugh and enjoy life. I still make it a point to appreciate the little things in life.

In my free time I…love to go on walks outside in the woods.

Recently I had fun…going skiing at Big Sky, Montana, in the mountains.

Something new in my life…we bought a cabin last summer on the Crow Wing River. We are remodeling it and enjoying this quiet getaway.

In the near future, I plan to…travel to Alaska! This has always been a dream of mine-I just haven’t decided when!

I look forward to…watching my children enjoy their high school days like I did.

I would recommend…the book “Tuesdays with Morrie.”

Anything else you would like to share: I’d like to thank my high school friends for the fun memories we had growing up together. I wish all of you the best in life.
